Race with HCC

Harvard Cycling competes in the Eastern Collegiate Cycling Conference (ECCC). Road season starts in early spring, followed by mountain bike and cyclocross in the fall. Many elite racers got their start in collegiate cycling!

Interested in racing?

You’ll need a few key things. A bike, current HCC kit, and helmet are essential. You’ll also need to register for a race license from USAC.

Your HCC membership (Cat 1 or Cat 2 level) includes race weekends!

You’ll receive an email prior to the race weekends from the logistics coordinator, so please reply if you’d like to sign up! HCC will help get you registered and make sure you have transport and lodging.

Race weekends

What could be more fun than a road trip with your pals and a couple of days of bike racing? Road race weekends are hosted by colleges throughout the northeast, sometimes more than one school per weekend. Most weekends have at least a couple of events, such as criterium, circuit race, road race, and individual or team time trials. Compete in some or all of the events. Even if you’re brand new to bike racing, you can compete in the “Intro” category and learn about racing as you go!
